Project Description
The Redmond House’s grand spaces and use of natural surfaces have made it a neighborhood showpiece. New, ground-up construction features quartersawn oak floors, magnificent exposed beams and a unique trapezoidal layout.
This project presented SBI with several building challenges. Using computer-aided graphic software to create the unusual steel skeleton, much of this project was constructed to exacting specifications offsite and brought to the site for assembly. The beauty of the final product speaks for itself, and features radiant heating, ‘rain screen’ siding and many other Built Green techniques and materials.
